Peculiar girl, with a heart as big as the moon. I'm on a quest to becoming the best me. It's not easy achieving your dreams and reaching your highest potential but It can be done. Martin Luther King said it beautifully: "If you have not discovered something you are willing to die for, then you are not fit to live"

I just can’t believe that this just happened.
On the bus, a women came aboard and instead of scanning her card she threw over the whole bag on the scanning machine where the bus chauffeur was sitting. Of ourse he reacts and tells her off to do it correctly next time.
Instead of realizing her mistake she starts yelling at him, then decides to sit next to me and starts mumbling “he’s got to be a muslim” of course I get offended, so I ask her “what makes you say that” where she replied ” oh they’re the worst, especially the bus chaffeurs”.
When one is being as ignorant as this women clearly was, there’s really no point of trying to shut her up and tell her she’s mistaken.
Instead, I told her ” really, are you positive? Dont judge a whole religion after one persons behaviour.”
She didn’t like what I had to say so she went and sat on the next seat.
Frustrating? Oh hell yeah it was!

Don’t let this Ramadan be just a holiday of rituals. Don’t finish reading the Quran without it transforming you. Don’t feed your body at suhoor, but starve your heart of Qiyam. Don’t reduce this downpour of mercy to just a month of sweets and lavish iftars. Seek Him, you will find. Take a sincere step towards change, transformation, redemption. If you do, you will find Him in front of you. Find Him this month. He’s been there all along. Closer than your jugular vein. Look and you’ll find. Walk and you’ll arrive."
